The RI State Council, Knights of Columbus and The Men or St Joseph International have partnered to make this initiative fruitful for all men.

Here at St Augustine’s parish the Cor gathering is held on the 4th Saturday of every month
at 8:30 AM in the O’Brian Hall/Sheridan room.

All men of the parish are welcome to participate.

  • Cor is Latin for heart
  • We need to take on the heart of the Father
  • As Knights we need to be more courageous in sharing our faith
  • We need to be prayerful men and have the protection of God to do the works we are called to do in the area of evangelization.

Cor exists to refocus Catholic men on Jesus Christ and to form and strengthen them in faith and virtue through a brotherhood committed to prayer, formation, and fraternity. The goal of each Cor gathering is to provide the opportunity for men to encounter Christ, to pray together, to be formed in their faith, and to strengthen their bonds of brotherhood, preparing them for courageous leadership and the mission of evangelization.

Cor has two goals:

  1. To help men develop a strong relationship with God rooted in prayer and the
    sacraments
  2. To give men ongoing formation within a dynamic brotherhood.
